Our campus is located downtown Santa Monica, California, an iconic place for creators, artists, dreamers and rockstars. Our neighborhood is home to world famous beaches, restaurants, coffee shops, gyms and unforgettable sunsets. We are a short walk from the beach, and steps from photogenic parks and landmarks. Our building is custom made for LAAMP, under the supervision of world class producers Stargate.

We do not serve lunch or dinner, but there are communal tables available for students to get take-out or bring their own. Or go to one of the exceptional neighborhood restaurants.

Our Studio is Your
Musical Playground

At LAAMP in Santa Monica, the majority of your time is dedicated to hands-on music creation, songwriting, and music production, with extensive access to our custom-built writing and production studios.

The LAAMP campus features 16 handcrafted, soundproof metal recording pods designed for professional-level recording, production, and vocal tracking. Each studio pod is equipped with a Neumann TLM 103 condenser microphone, Output Frontier 6.5” 2-way active studio monitors, and an SSL 2 audio interface, providing clean, detailed sound and reliable low-latency performance for modern music production workflows. Students also have access to premium outboard hardware, including the Warm Audio WA73 microphone preamp & EQ—modeled after the legendary 1073—as well as the Warm Audio WA76 discrete compressor, a studio staple known for its punch, warmth, and classic analog character.

Each production station is carefully tuned for accurate monitoring, offering a focused midrange, smooth high frequencies, and harmonically rich low end. Studios are further equipped with Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2 MIDI controllers, along with 1/8-inch and iPhone adapters for seamless device connectivity, making LAAMP an ideal environment for aspiring producers, artists, and songwriters to develop industry-ready skills.
